Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone is a once-
in-a-generation opportunity to shape a new city
quarter. Our ambition is to create a place that is
welcoming to all – to live, work, enjoy leisure time
and build on Bristol’s strengths as a world class city.
Temple Quarter will play a key part in growing Bristol as a
more fair and equitable city that can benefit all communities;
a city in which everyone has a stake and in which no one gets
left behind.
Bristol City Council is working with the West of England Local
Enterprise Partnership and Invest Bristol and Bath to promote
these opportunities.
A Spatial Framework has also been prepared
to guide prospective developers and investors. This non-
statutory guidance sets out key urban design principles,
reflecting our ambitions for the zone. It is supported by a
significant body of contextual study, which is freely available
to help further de-risk development.

changing how existing buildings
are used).
