The Bristol Port Company
Bristol Port is the UK’s most centrally located deep sea port, making it the most economical port
distribution location in the UK. We have excellent, uncongested motorway and rail access directly at
the port to all points of the compass which means over 45 million people are easily reached within a
300km radius.
If it is space for your development that you want, Bristol Port’s entire 2,600 acre dock estate is
zoned for industrial use and can offer spacious sites adjacent to the port. The neighbouring Avon-
mouth/Severnside Enterprise Area offers 1,000 acres for development, much of which already has
planning consent, so your project can get off the ground speedily.
Our regular container and Ro-Ro services give you a highly capable network of shipping links across
the globe; couple this with our flexible, speedy decision-making and you can see why Bristol Port
gives you everything you need.

Bristol Airport
As England’s third largest regional airport, Bristol Airport is the international gateway to the South
West. Direct flights to more than 120 destinations, combined with multiple daily services to major
hubs including Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt and Paris Charles de Gaulle, mean Bristol is well
connected wherever you want to do business.
Major investment in passenger facilities has transformed the terminal in recent years. A £24 million
terminal extension houses an enlarged security search area designed to take the stress out of this
essential part of the airport journey, while upgrades to the immigration hall have seen 10 of the latest
ePassport gates installed.
Elsewhere, the first on-site hotel – a 201-room Hampton-by-Hilton – opened earlier this year and,
beyond the Airport boundary, access to and from Bristol has been improved by the opening of the
South Bristol Link.
All of this has contributed to Bristol Airport being rated the best in the UK for overall customer
satisfaction for three quarters running – that is according to ASQ, a
benchmarking programme, run by Airports Council International.
